Best Motorcycle Roads in America
Legendary twisties, high-elevation passes, and ridge-top highways chosen for their curves, scenery, and road quality. Each route loads directly in the planner — ready to ride.
What makes a great motorcycle road
Ask any rider and the answer is the same: curves, scenery, and good pavement. The routes here are chosen for exactly that — tight switchbacks, sweeping mountain passes, and ridge-top highways that reward the ride over the destination. Road Sorties' curvy-roads preference seeks out the twistiest line between two points, turning a dull highway slog into a road worth riding.
Load any featured ride straight into the planner, then make it yours: prefer curvy roads, avoid highways and tolls, and add fuel and rest stops along the way. Share the route with your group, or navigate it turn-by-turn from the Road Sorties app on iOS.
Motorcycle route FAQ
How does the curvy-roads option work? When you enable Prefer Curvy Roads, the routing engine favors roads with more turns — even if it adds a few miles — so you get the most engaging ride rather than the fastest one.
Can I plan to avoid highways? Yes. Toggle Avoid Highways (and Avoid Tolls) to keep the ride on back roads and two-lane twisties.
Will it work with my GPS? You can navigate in the Road Sorties iOS app, or export any route to GPX, GeoJSON, or JSON to load onto your device or other apps.
