This parkway runs about 93 miles along the crest of Lookout Mountain from Gadsden, Alabama toward Chattanooga, Tennessee. It passes DeSoto Falls and the rim of Little River Canyon — one of the deepest canyons east of the Mississippi, carved entirely atop the mountain — along with caverns and waterfalls. Forest and rural ridgetop scenery line the route.
