State Scenic Highway 210 covers the Foothill Freeway, running along the base of the San Gabriel Mountains from Sylmar to Redlands. The combined Interstate 210 and State Route 210 corridor was named by the state legislature in 1991 for its parallel path to both the mountains and historic Foothill Boulevard, serving a chain of San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire suburbs from Pasadena and Glendora to Rancho Cucamonga and Redlands.
