Lemon Bay/Myakka Trail covers 47.9 miles of Southwest Florida's Gulf Coast, south of Sarasota and north of Fort Myers. The main route follows State Road 776, with two additional loops. A 17-mile loop at Cape Haze follows SR 771, and a 6-mile loop through Englewood runs on County Roads 775 and 777. Myakka State Forest offers hiking, cycling, and horseback trails along the main route, while Lemon Bay Park adds a butterfly garden and nature trails. The Old Englewood Loop reaches the Olde Englewood Village Historic District and the Cape Haze Pioneer Trail, and the byway's barrier islands, Gasparilla Island, Boca Grande, and Manasota Key, add beaches, water sports, and the historic Boca Grande Lighthouse to the drive.
