State Route 75 runs from Ketchum and Sun Valley over Galena Summit and down into the Sawtooth Valley, where the jagged granite spires of the Sawtooth Range rise abruptly above the headwaters of the Salmon River. The overlook at Galena Summit takes in the whole valley, and Redfish Lake mirrors the peaks near the old mining town of Stanley. It is one of the most dramatic mountain drives in the Northern Rockies.
