The Lower Susquehanna Scenic Byway covers 33 miles between Havre de Grace and Perryville, tracing both banks of the Susquehanna River just above where it empties into the Chesapeake Bay. The drive starts in downtown Havre de Grace near the Concord Point Light and the Havre de Grace Maritime and Decoy Museums, then follows Water and Erie Streets before heading inland on MD 155 to Susquehanna State Park, where Rock Run Road and Stafford Road parallel both the old canal and the river's west bank. The byway crosses the Susquehanna atop the Conowingo Dam on US 1 — sharing that stretch with the Mason and Dixon Scenic Byway — then follows MD 222 down the river's east bank to Perryville. Within Susquehanna State Park, the Stepping Stone Farm Museum preserves tools and buildings from the 1880s to 1920s, and the park offers fishing, boating, and camping along the way.
