Chappaquiddick Road is the only paved road on Chappaquiddick, the small island off Martha's Vineyard reachable solely by a short car ferry from Edgartown. The road runs about four miles from the ferry landing at the Point across the island, passing the Mytoi Japanese garden before turning to dirt for its final mile out to Wasque Point, an ocean-facing bluff at the island's southeastern tip. Along the way, side roads branch off toward Dyke Bridge and Cape Poge, giving access to protected beaches, salt marsh, and a wildlife refuge managed by The Trustees of Reservations.
