M-119 north of Harbor Springs is a narrow, centerline-less road that winds for about 20 miles beneath an arching canopy of hardwoods along the Lake Michigan shore bluffs. Glimpses of the lake appear through the trees, and the tiny historic village of Good Hart and Cross Village's famous Legs Inn anchor the route. The dense overhead canopy is spectacular in autumn.
