The "Kanc" runs 34 miles on NH-112 through the White Mountain National Forest between Lincoln and Conway, with no gas, no lodging, and no commercial development along its length. It climbs over the 2,855-foot Kancamagus Pass beneath Mount Kancamagus, with overlooks of the surrounding peaks and stops at Sabbaday Falls and Rocky Gorge. It is one of the most famous fall-foliage drives in the country.
