Welsh Scenic Byway runs 64 miles along US 35 and State Route 93 through Gallia and Jackson counties. It honors the Welsh immigrants who settled southeastern Ohio in the 19th century, connecting Welsh churches, farms, and cemeteries scattered through the hill country, alongside pastoral scenes that include the Bob Evans Farms Homestead, the original farm behind the restaurant chain's name. Raccoon Creek runs through much of the corridor, a waterway where Daniel Boone once hunted and trapped decades before Welsh settlers arrived. Wildlife areas along the creek add a recreational layer to what is otherwise a heritage-focused drive through one of Ohio's most distinctly Welsh-American corners.
