This short byway climbs into the Kolob Canyons, the quieter northwest corner of Zion National Park reached directly off Interstate 15. The five-mile road switchbacks up among the Finger Canyons — a series of parallel box canyons walled in deep-red Navajo sandstone. A viewpoint at the road's end overlooks the canyons and the long trail toward Kolob Arch, among the largest natural arches in the world.
