This byway runs between Waterbury and Stowe beneath Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, through the heart of the Green Mountains. It links the resort village of Stowe with its white-steepled church, the Trapp Family Lodge, and the trailheads and gondola of Mansfield. The corridor is a year-round draw for skiing, hiking, and leaf-peeping.
