Skyline Drive runs 105 miles down the spine of the Blue Ridge through the length of Shenandoah National Park, with more than 70 overlooks taking in the Shenandoah Valley to the west and the Virginia Piedmont to the east. The road keeps to a leisurely 35 mph and connects to the Blue Ridge Parkway at its southern end, near Waynesboro. It draws crowds for its spring wildflowers and famous October foliage.
