Door County Coastal Byway

This byway loops around the Door Peninsula, the narrow finger of land between Green Bay and Lake Michigan often called the "Cape Cod of the Midwest." It strings together historic lighthouses, cherry and apple orchards, waterfront villages, and a chain of state parks along rocky Niagara-escarpment shoreline. Fish boils and harbor towns give it a distinctive maritime character.
